Job Description
Our Practice Support Department is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Marketing Intern. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various marketing functions through administrative, digital, and creative activities.

Digital Marketing Assistance
- Monitor social media pages for any comments and respond and share content where required.
- Assisting in the creation of social media content.
- Assist with internal marketing efforts, including events and internal marketing initiatives.
- Assistance with basic website administration (for example, tracking which articles have an author that can be removed).
- Updating personal LinkedIn Profiles where required/coordinating efforts to get pages updated.
Business Development Assistance
- Creation of databases to assist with directors' campaigns.
- Ensure that monthly statistics of potential leads are sent to all professionals (i.e., those who have visited the website and read the articles).
- Assistance with events and seminars.
- Assisting with the execution of marketing campaigns
General Administration
- Sourcing quotes to ensure ISO requirements for suppliers are met.
- Assist with creative briefs to designers for small projects.
- Digital ad administration (Account set-ups and follow-ups on for example, refunds)
- Support with internal marketing efforts, including initiatives for employees and larger events, such as the year end.
- Assist with any charity drives and charity events throughout the year.
- Assistance with appointments with suppliers (for example, the photographer)
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms, social media, and content creation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Solid computer literacy is a must.
- Good typing and administration skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- A strong sense of teamwork.
- Ability to prioritise work efficiently;
- Deadline driven;
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines;
- Use initiative and follow through on tasks;
